If you are an AV Programmer using Savant, Elan, RTI and you are looking for an exciting opportunity in the San Diego area, Acoustic Evolution is looking for you.
Acoustic Evolution is San Diego’s premier residential custom AV with over 20 years’ experience and is looking for exceptional talent. We specialize in whole home distributed audio & video systems and smart home integration and control including lighting, environment, surveillance and access. Our talented and dedicated team has many years’ experience at Acoustic Evolution and has set the bar high with clean, professional installations and wire management.
Working with many of the area’s most prominent custom estate builders, we handle all phases of projects, from conceptualization, through design and engineering, to installation and programming and ongoing service. Customer service is our #1 priority.
Responsibilities:
- Use Savant or Elan to program audio visual control systems and panels
- Make sure that all programming is completed with quality in mind and executed on time
- When necessary, troubleshoot complex audio, video, control system, panel, and switching problems and resolve
- Partner with customers and engineers to ensure proper development of control systems and panels
- Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling
- Ability to effectively and timely report progress and updates to customer and staff
Job Requirements
Required Skills:
- At least 2+ years of experience programming and deploying automation control systems with Savant, Elan or other similar home automation systems
- Extensive understanding of plan designs and signal flow
- Very strong attention to detail and solid troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, engineers, PM’s, techs, etc., both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
- Any AV control system programming certifications, especially Savant, Lutron and CEDIA and ESC
- Experience with data networking setup and configuration
- Intermediate understanding of audio DSP programming and testing
- Installation experience with networked AV equipment
- Strong PC (Microsoft Office) and Networking experience
- Ability to manage resources, set priorities and achieve deadlines
