Positions available include new construction, remodel and retrofit wiring to performing final installation, trim, finish, calibration and programming.

A Cabling and Infrastructure Technicians primary task is to perform basic infrastructure wiring for low-voltage technology systems in a residential or commercial setting. Applicants must be able to use proper tools and techniques, follow instructions per project documentation, and operate in a safe and professional manner on the jobsite. They understand the basic function of wiring and termination components being installed and are aware of common equipment and systems applications which they may assist with mounting and installing during later phases of a project. While individuals typically work under supervision, we are looking for candidates that are jobsite ready, can work billable hours performing cabling and installation support, and have foundational knowledge to support additional training on equipment and technology systems.
An Integrated Systems Technician is someone who can work independently to perform all functions related to the pre-wire and trim-out phases of a project including troubleshooting common errors and verifying system functionality. This technician follows best practices to properly mount and install a wide range of home technology equipment in racks and throughout a residence. They understand the basic concepts of how audio, video, and communication and control devices work, and perform the basic configuration of various integrated systems and equipment. Candidates will have experience, possesses a broad range of essential technical skills, and is ready to pursue more specialized and advanced training on specific technology systems.
Rough-in, trim-out, Crestron integrated control systems, retrofit, system verification and testing. Qualified Electronic Systems Technicians have experience in a wide variety of installation tasks, including troubleshooting and data communications. Most electronic systems technicians with this skill set have between one and three years of electronic systems experience or training.
- Deploy residential and small-business wired and wireless networks
- Building, wiring and installing equipment racks
- Wire networking systems, pre-wire and retrofit wiring
- High and/or low voltage lighting and controls
- Smart home technology, security cameras, audio equipment, motorized shading, wiring, and installing video walls, projection systems and TVs
- Installing and testing networking and Wi-Fi systems
- Connecting and bringing to life control systems
- Cabling/terminating
- Working with programmers to make sure the system operates correctly
- Reading and translating floor plan, elevation and other plans, drawings and documentation
- Communicating with project coordinators on job status and site requirements
- Working with engineering and documentation staff on development of project documents, including full as-built plans at project completion and many other duties
- Develop protocols, procedures, best practices, and trainings for company and external use for these systems
- Transport themselves and materials to and from project locations
- Responsible for maintaining the vehicle and its contents, including cleanliness
- Troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Testing old/new connections
- Clean up job sites
- Recording and maintaining inventories
- Upload regular updates to all TVs, receivers and miscellaneous AV equipment
- Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction
- Knowledge or certification with Savant, Crestron, Lutron, Control4 a plus
- Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, CCTV, telephone and computer networks
