This is a moderately skilled, residential, installation technician position. You must have a strong working knowledge and experience with personal power tools, measurements, and leveling. You must have a natural tendency to be very precise and detailed – wanting things you’ve done to be perfect or close to it.
You must be able to interact with high profile clients that often have strong personalities and high expectations.
The objective of a Shades Technician is to efficiently install, diagnose, and repair window shade systems for clients in a way that leaves them highly satisfied.

Job Requirements
- Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s)
- Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners
- Must be able to maintain a professional appearance and good hygiene
- Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively communicate written and verbally to employees
- Must be able to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to see and distinguish different colors, read small print and hear and recognize audible signals such as dial tones
- Flexibility to travel occasionally or work overtime as needed
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; creative thinking
- Interact with employees, customers, and colleagues effectively on a professional-level
- Be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Have valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must own and have hand/power/testing tools necessary for the low voltage industry
- Pass drug screen and background check
