Job Description

Advanced Communication Technologies (ACT) is looking for a highly motivated sales professional to join our team.  The right candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills, the ability to communicate well with prospective customers, supervisors and coworkers, and will excel in a team environment working with ACT’s inside sales team.  They will build a strong pipeline of residential and corporate prospects, as well as maintain existing relationships with clients.

  • Prospect and cold call established builders, architects, and interior designers
  • Help maintain good customer relations at all times
  • Demonstrate ACT’s services and abilities through presentations to trade associations and prospects
  • Manage incoming sales inquiries
  • Move the prospective customers to the next step of the sales process with the inside sales team
  • Help with proposals and change orders when needed
  • Help inside sales team with marketing activities

Job Requirements

  • Strong sales background with at least five years experience
  • Sales experience in the consumer or commercial electronics field preferred but not required
  • Sales experience in the residential or commercial construction field preferred but not required
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Solid communication skills and a good driving record a must
  • Experience building relationships with architects, designers, developers and builders a plus
  • Have a keen interest in technology
