Crestron Network Supervisor 

Looking for an Crestron Network Supervisor to assist with programming custom Crestron projects and in configuring home networks with routers, networks, VLANS, IP touchscreens, IP cameras systems, IP music and video distribution systems. The ideal candidate will work alongside our main system designer and programmer supporting the set-up, development, programming and initiation of new smart home systems!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Programing and Configuration
    • Meet with clients to clearly define programming scope and requirements
    • Compiling project docs and building out detailed scopes 
    • Working knowledge of HTML
    • Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+, SIMPL#
    • Crestron (toolbox, uploading programming, able to acquire and ID equipment)
    • Pre-configuring hardware such as access points, support PCs and routers 
    • Programming of Crestron and Lutron Systems 
    • Savant, Control4, and Lutron Ketra programming
    • In-depth networking understanding
    • Assist with pre-configuration of system components including but not limited to: Wireless Access Points, Smart Power Management, Routers and Camera Systems
    • Troubleshooting and setup of IP networks, IP schemes and static IPs
    • Commissioning and Final System Adjustments (last most important 5%) 
  • Starting up racks ensuring all hardware has the latest firmware and is accurately registered to the project 
      • Commissioning systems in the field and fine-tuning programming
      • Onsite Testing and Commissioning
      • Project Managing the final installation and commissioning of the system. Working with scheduling and team to ensure the right technicians are on the job, for the amount of time needed and that all parts are either brought to the jobsite or ordered. 
  • Quotes and Design
      • Building and revising quotes and supporting materials such as floorplans
      • Updating system documentation 
      • Overall System Design
      • Savant, Control4, and Lutron Ketra system designs
  • Support (Technicians and Clients)
      • Monitoring support email as needed 
      • Responding to client support tickets 
  • General Foundation 
    • Create project documentation and drawings using Google Docs, Excel, and Visio 
    • Ability to provide documentation on jobs, customer correspondence, etc
    • Read and interpret all floorplans, drawings, and specifications
    • Able to work both independently and with a team
    • Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
    • Professional appearance and able to communicate articulately internally and with customers
