Job Description

LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLER II

In business since 2004, Personal Technology is a very busy low-voltage firm with an immediate opening for installation technicians. This position is full time with overtime. Candidates should be knowledgeable in audio/video entertainment systems, telecommunications, surveillance and networking. Experience with Lutron lighting and Savant control systems is a plus. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a career in the residential AV industry.

Job duties will include:

Pre-wiring of single family homes and small businesses
Retrofit wiring of single family homes and small businesses
Telecommunication trim-out
Installation of various electronic components including: network equipment, televisions, in-wall/in-ceiling speakers, security cameras, lighting control equipment, motorized shades
AV Rack building
Troubleshooting and maintenance

Job Requirements

Two years of experience as a low voltage installer or related industry is required. All candidates will be tested for aptitude prior to an employment offer being extended.
All candidates must have great customer service skills and a positive personality
Candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance of the western San Gabriel Valley. Our work area is mainly in Pasadena, So. Pasadena, San Marino and La Canada Flintridge
Candidates must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation
