WAVE Designs is looking for a highly motivated sales representative to join our team! This position will be responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients, both residential and corporate.
The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of audio/video products, be a self-starter, have excellent organizational and customer service skills, the ability to communicate well with prospective customers, supervisors, co-workers, and will excel in a team environment.
Sales Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify and establish contact with potential customers, be it builders, architects, and interior designers
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Create estimates, invoices, purchase orders & change orders
- Order & track inventory
- Attend industry tradeshows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful connections with existing clients
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
Job Requirements
- Strong sales background with at least five years’ experience preferred
- Sales experience in the consumer or commercial electronics field preferred, but not required.
- Sales experience in the residential or commercial construction field preferred, but not required.
- Experience with selling and designing the following types of systems are preferred:
- Lighting Control
- Automation and Integration
- Motorized Shading
- Home Theaters
- Networks
- Distributed Audio and Video Systems
- Have a keen sense of technology
- Requires a mix of office and fieldwork
