Do you geek out on how far you can push the limits with technology? You’re not alone! Global Wave Integration designs and installs custom technology solutions for luxury residences inspired by imagination. We work on the coolest technology projects for clients around the world.

The ideal candidate is already a Lead Technician and looking to build upon existing project management experience but is not yet in that role. This person will work closely between the Project Manager and the on-site Technicians to ensure the project is executed properly and on-time. This person has aptitude and experience while looking to further grow their skill sets. An integral member of the team who rolls up their sleeves to execute the work on a daily basis.

Job Requirements

Location:

  • Ability to get to job sites in Los Angeles County, CA.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Has own vehicle for basic transportation. Company has vehicles for work.

 

Site Management:

  • On-site project interface between client, in-house technicians, and other trades (electrician, GC, security, designer, architect, etc.)
  • Maintains and clearly communicates project timelines, outstanding issues, and relevant next steps to resolution
  • Work closely with Project Manager to manage project phases and necessary payment schedules (triggers billing)
  • Works closely with Project Manager to creates and tracks Change Orders
  • Proactive rather than reactive

 

Scheduling:

  • Proactively works with Project Manager and Office Manager to schedule all necessary resources (internal and external)

 

Engineering (Preferred but not required):

  • Updating System Documentation (As-built)

 

Installation:

  • Ability to pull low-voltage wire, test/terminate, install equipment including: speakers, TV’s, racks, networks, control systems (Savant, Crestron), lighting systems (Lutron HWQS & RA2), low-voltage lighting fixtures, camera systems.

 

Programming (Preferred but not required):

  • Debugging software on-site during installation (Savant, Crestron & Lutron)

 

Quality Control (QC)/Punch List/Troubleshooting:

  • Using design docs and as-built system to determine punch list to be completed.
  • Resolve any and all installation issues to produce a flawless and turn-key product.
  • Expert knowledge of signal flow and methods to trace issues and resolve.

 

Client Training:

  • Ability to train an end-user to control and be comfortable with the finished system.

 

Physical Capability:

  • Ability to lift and manipulate a 50lb package
  • Ability to climb a 25’ Ladder
  • Work inside and outside in various weather conditions.

 

Software Suite (Preferred but not required):

  • Company-wide Software Solution (D-tools)
  • Communication (Slack)
